Last night we attended the GUESS launch party for their new Festival Collection, bringing back nostalgic designs and pairing it with 2013 spring fashion trends. The event was at their high-ceilinged, two-storey GUESS store on Queen Street West in Toronto.

First Impressions

Approaching the glass branded GUESS building on busy Queen Street West, the transparent doors opened to a wide and tall space with white coloured walls and floors refocused your eyes to look towards the sky-patterned backgrounds and brightly coloured clothing. We were greeted and grabbed the first GUESS branded lemonade we could find. Have to stay hydrated, there was a lot of mingling to do.

Last night we went to Muzik‎ in Toronto to experience the new Grey Goose Lounge. The event seemed completely opposite than the Grey Goose Cherry Noir event, but the different vibe was a nice change!

Muzik is a massive. The venue was able to fit more than enough people and brought lots of different personalities from the world of television, blogging, fashion, and entertainment.

The event started at 6pm with people coming later after probably ditching their after-work attire. For the people who just had time to change clothes, Grey Goose and Muzik had a hair styling salon situated from one of the bars that made sure everyone going into the salon looked great coming out.

Last night we attended the event, ‘A Night of Pomp & Pageantry‘ organized by SAVVY! and held at the Pomp & Pageantry store in Toronto.

The sold out event featured a variety of different stylish and fashionable young professional women, in a variety of different fields. Marketers, business owners, jewellery makers, lawyers and entrepreneurs, all filled the room and provided all sorts of great conversation throughout the night.

The event location was based out of the fashionable Pomp & Pageantry store on Scollard Street in Yorkville, with classic two-level Yorkville brick exterior, walking up to a couple of inviting people giving you a rundown of how the night was going to go on.

Last night we attended Cocktail Couture at Crown Lounge in Toronto, hosted by Toronto Business Casual. The Cocktail Couture event is a bi-annual event that brings forth stylish people to mingle in very approachable way.

The venue was great. The open concept provided a lot of room for great conversations, and it was easy to move from social circle to social circle. The two-tiered couches provided a nice bandstand feel, especially for the main event.

Towards the middle of the night, there was the Luxury Runway Fashion Show, where spectators enjoying themed cocktails could enjoy the view of curated clothing styles from up and coming Canadian designers. 2012 Fall/Winter Collection

Porsche Design has released their latest fall and winter collections for both men and women, and the collection is looking great. Some of the pieces are timeless, some of the pieces are even better than their predecessors and others are brand new to the store and have limited inventory, so you are almost guaranteed not to be caught in the same outfit as someone else.

What Porsche Design does really, really well, is incorporating style and functionality to their collections. Their winter jackets are light in weight but when you put them on, you instantly know that you will definitely keep warm in that coat. The goatskin leather is smooth, light, nice-to-touch, and makes you not want to take the jacket off.
