Last Day And Living At Fox Harb’r Resort

Date: July 22, 2016

Last day of the trip and it started off early at 4:44 a.m. In the peak hours of the morning, I went to go to the top of the 16th hole with a group to take pictures of the sunrise at 5:30 a.m.. It was a beautiful sight to see. The sunrise bathed the whole golf course and water ahead of us. It was simply stunning. One of the best sunrises I’ve seen.

The morning continued with a visit to the secluded bit from the rest of the resort was the sporting lodge. Like what you would see in the homes around the resort (which we will talk about later), the sporting lodge looked like a great hang out spot for people who love wing and clay shooting. Once you step up to the deck there was a lot of different options for you to choose from. Lots of variety.

After we had the adrenaline rushing from shooting clays on the field, we turned everything down for the fly fishing in the fully stocked trout pond. I can admit that I didn’t catch anything, looks like I was a better clay shooter than a fisherman.

On our way to our next stop, we drove by the vineyards owned by Fox Harb’r. Yes, in a few years time, Fox Harb’r will be making it’s own wine with other local wineries. So you will be able to enjoy your communities own wine. That’s something that can’t be said for many.

Winding down from Fox Harb’r Resort we spent the remaining hours of our trip at Jost Vineyards (the winemaker for Fox Harb’r), with some delicious and crisp wine that is a great summer wine as it turns out. Then it was back to the airport.

Let’s Talk About Fox Harb’r Resort

We haven’t really given you a bird’s eye view of the project. It really has a lot of growth in mind for the next 17 years and they are adding a lot to the 1,150 acre property to be excited about. It’s masterly planned and from what we have asked, there is no debt in any way, shape or form on the property which is great news for buyers of the different styles of living below.

Living At Fox Harb’r Resort

Fox Harb’r Resort is not only a resort but has opportunities to live there too. The homes were beautiful in and out, safely out of harms way when it came to the golf courses and perched up nicely, having some terrific views from the balconies.

The Executive Townhomes

14 townhomes were great pieces of property for those who love the area and live around the resort amenities. The executive townhomes boast 10′ main ceiling height, floor-to-ceiling windows to let those beautiful sunrise and sunsets through. You can also enjoy a great balcony off of the bedroom, perfect for looking at golfers nervously get through their rounds based on momentum and perhaps excuses. They even have heated tile flooring, which in my experience felt great and would be in the winter months.

You can even have fractional living at the Executive Townhomes for 12 weeks out of the year, starting at $169,000 and no it’s not a timeshare situation. Contact them for more information with fractionals, only four remain!

The Custom Built Detached Homes

These custom built, single family homes are a great mix of cottage style housing but expansive square footage and generous ceiling heights as well. There are three single-family homes available at the starting price of $ 898,800 to $1,595M and range from 2,412 sq. ft. to 4,000 sq. ft.

For the properties you can enjoy two-car garages, plenty of space for your family or even visiting guests with the expansive square footage and enjoy plenty of natural light filling up the spaces too. The one in particular we wanted to highlight is The Edgewood. It has 4,000 square of cottage-mansion style living. It’s got that flavour. When you look up. Wow. you can see the end of the 2-storey fireplace, 22′ ceilings and the cathedral style ceiling is amazing with all the British Colombia firs, spanning and supporting the lofts above, perfect for entertaining. Built well and a lot of attention to detail. Great layouts, perfect for families that need to converse when dinner is ready.

These pictures are one thing, but even the photographer who specializes in indoor photography in Ontario, who we were with, was wowed by the space.

But, what about the interiors?

They are beautiful.

Beautiful hardwood floors, expansive windows, great finishes, and floor-to-ceiling and double sided cozy fireplace.

The Building Sites

The beautiful sites give plenty of space for those who love the grounds, but want to build in their own particular oceanic style. For those who are imaginative or those who want to work with the team at Fox Harb’r, there are 23 suites that still remain at the starting price of $195,000 moving up to $385,000.
