Rosé Picnic Evening Photos-35

The Rosé Picnic Brings A Sea of Pink and White To Toronto

How about a picnic? Not just any picnic, a premium picnic. The Rosé Picnic.

A few weekends back at the Stanley Barracks, at Hotel X Toronto, was absolutely filled with bright pink and white colours as The Rosé Picnic came back for its second annual event.

Well over 3,500 people filled the new event space for a summer party to remember, all for a great cause too. Every ticket sold donated a meal to a Canadian child in need for the new charity, Feeding Canadian Kids.

The weather was hot and sunny and shined brightly on the soft pink blankets and white VIP tents that filled the area.

With it being so nice and sunny on the day, The Rosé Picnic even had a full fashion show from 5 different local Canadian designers: Betty Felon Fashions, Hendrixroe, Zane Barläs, Moscato Pink, and Sahiba Fashions, whose models dressed in their clothing catwalked the perimeter of the Rosé Picnic’s entertainment half of the venue.

The food on-site was delicious and ranged from small snacks, like Korean Style Chicken Tacos to more hearty options like a Bymark Street Burger. The gourmet food was from McEwen Foods and even celebrity chef, Mark McEwen was on site enjoying the festivities.

Above the food, there was a variety of rosés, champagnes and spirits to choose from. With local Niagara wines like XOXO Wine, Thirty Bench, brands like Campo Viejo, including the newly launched Rrosé, all the way up to more premium bottles of Moët & Chandon and Dom Perignon, there was an option for everyone.

Everywhere you looked there were Instagrammable moments, pink and white attire, bottle popping, flower crown wearing, relaxed day drinking and groups taking selfies in front of large, blown up letter balloons that spelled out ROSÉ.

What we really liked as well, even Hotel X Toronto was involved by giving exclusive rates on the rooms that weekend for people staying in from out of town and Uber even had given out some discount codes to and from the event to make sure everyone was getting home safe.

The Bottom Line

Whether it was one of the six DJs spinning dance tracks all day, the sea of pink and white that filled the space, the relaxed energy that came with the patrons or the variety of activities, this was one of the best summer parties we have attended this year.
