LXRY 360: Day One At WMCFW

Here is a recap of what happened last night at #WMCFW for their FALL/WINTER 2014 collections: Mikhael Kale, Vawk, Beaufille, Line Knitwear, and Sid Neigum.

Mikhael Kale

Known for his conceptual approach to fashion with attention to detail, craftsmanship and tailoring. Since returning to Toronto, Kale introduced his eponymous label in 2007 and has been recognized by international publications such as WWD, The New York Times, T magazine, and Dazed and Confused.

VAWK

Luxury ready-to-wear label VAWK is designed and hand crafted in Canada. Founded in 2004 in Toronto, Canada by Sunny Fong, VAWK is balanced by inspirations of modern femininity with classic sensibility while continuing to develop new product categories.

Beaufille

A Canadian womenswear and jewelry brand founded in 2009 by designers Chloé and Parris Gordon.

LINE Knitwear

Combining their distinct confidence in style and appreciation for simplicity, long-time friends John Muscat and Jennifer Wells recognized the need to revolutionize the face of knitwear in hopes to produce quality knits that accommodate both practicality and style. A timeless staple for any woman, Line exudes feminine class and luxury while identifying the need for comfort and ease.

Sid Neigum

Sid Neigum is a Canada-born, New York based experimentalist aiming to develop new silhouettes, shapes, ideas and feelings through fashion design and other mediums. The brand’s raison d’être is to challenge convention and question tradition. Neigum expresses an idiosyncratic vision inspired by avant-garde club culture, street fashion, music, contemporary sculpture, math and architecture while maintaining a singularly dark esthetic. \
