Start Your Next Trip Stress-Free At The Sheraton Gateway Toronto Airport Hotel
Have some upcoming holiday travel plans and looking to make your trip as stress-free as possible? Catching a flight from Toronto Pearson Airport has never been so easy from the Sheraton Gateway Toronto Airport Hotel. Honestly, you can count the steps to the gate.
If you are heading to a flight from Terminal 3, you will find yourself walking easily to the gate, or if it’s Terminal 1, you can take a quick transit ride over and still be a few minutes from the hotel room to check-in.
No more early morning drop-offs, no more relying on train schedules and taxis, and no more stress or hassle.
Enter The Sheraton Gateway Toronto Airport Hotel
The Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto International Airport has been undergoing extensive renovations for the past few years, and it is ready to introduce an entirely new kind of airport hotel experience.
The hotel recently underwent a massive $30 million renovation, and the results are truly impressive. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you’ll notice that it has a sleek, modern look. Sheraton had its intention of making the hotel different in every way possible and that’s quite the undertaking, considering it is a sprawling 484 rooms.
As part of Sheraton’s global design transformation, the Sheraton Gateway Airport Hotel is one of the busiest in Canada. The makeover brought new technology, design, and style to the international stopover. The renovation, which is now finished, is the most recent illustration of an emerging generation of airport hotels that are meant to function as destinations, places where it is reasonable for one to stay for more than a single night.
Perfect For Business Travellers
As soon as guests leave the airport terminal and enter the doors of the hotel, which is the only establishment in Toronto that is directly connected to the airport, they are conveniently connected to their next move.
The lobby, which has a modern aesthetic and serves as the centre of the guest experience, features brand signatures such as the Community Table, sound-proof Booths, and The Studios, all of which encourage productivity and make a great place for those travelling together on work trips.
From Sheraton’s &More Lounge to the Airport Lounge
Additionally, the lobby is home to &More by Sheraton, which is the signature bar, coffee shop, and market concept for the Sheraton brand. The Sheraton Club lounge, the swimming pool and whirlpool, the 24-hour fitness room and Peloton studio, the updated meeting spaces, and the completely remodelled guest rooms and suites are some of the additional amenities that are offered at this hotel.
The Dining Experience
I recently stayed at the Sheraton Gateway Toronto Airport Hotel and checked in the night before my early morning flight. Best decision I made that day. I checked in and explored the hotel. First, I went to the &More lounge for a bottle of prosecco, and hor d’oeuvres that they had out for guests and had a wonderful dinner.
Dining at the Sheraton Gateway Toronto Airport Hotel was an absolute highlight.
Fully Rested And Ready To Fly
After dinner, I closed up everything, I was facing the airport itself from my view but couldn’t hear a thing. No traffic from outside the window below of people hastily trying to drop off their partners. It was like a calm, relaxing enclosed observation deck, observing the chaos that is Toronto Pearson Airport.
Especially when you are already packed for your trip the night before, you have everything you need with you and you can simply stroll to the gates from there.
The next morning after a comfy night’s sleep, because I was already basically at Pearson, instead of spending the hour driving, finding parking and rushing to my gate, I went to the gym, had a great breakfast at the &More Lounge, sat back and enjoyed my coffee and then strolled gingerly to the gate.
It’s hard to imagine a better way to start your travel day.
Stay Close The Night Before A Flight
With the recent pandemic having people move out of the city in record numbers, I know people who live in Collingwood, Barrie, Orillia or even places outside Hamilton or Kingston. For people who don’t know what the weather is going to be, want stress-free travel, or have the ability to not wake up at 3:00 am for an 8:00 am flight, this is a perfect hotel for you.
The Bottom Line
Overall, the Sheraton Gateway Toronto Airport Hotel’s 30 million dollar renovation has truly transformed the property into a modern and luxurious destination. From the chic and contemporary design to the state-of-the-art amenities, this hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. Whether you’re in town for business or pleasure, the Sheraton Gateway Toronto Airport Hotel is a perfect choice.
