The SickKids Soiree Presented by Omega Group

Last night we attended the SickKids Soiree organized by Omega Group helping to raise money and awareness for the SickKids foundation. The 500+ person event took place at the beautiful Azure Restaurant and Bar in the InterContinental Toronto Centre, which was a beautiful venue for an event like this. We love the whole idea of a ‘party with a purpose’ and with the weather in the city cooperating, it enabled people to dress for success and look fantastic. We really enjoyed the high ceilings, blue-lit ambient tones, great company, and beautiful people all around, which made for a great occasion that was sold out by a sleekly dressed Toronto audience.

Grey Goose Vodka was a sponsor for the event and the two bars were packed as people enjoyed some great drinks between conversations. The attire matched the classiness of the venue, having a loft party feel, mixed with an formal, yet easygoing environment. The Azure Restaurant and Bar provided a lot of seating for the high-heel wearing woman looking for a break and walk around space to enjoy the venue from different angles.

The night consisted of everything from suit and tie, beautiful floral design, great and creative company, and even small touches, like a saxophone player and conveniently placed chocolate, that made the atmosphere of the venue and the event much more enjoyable.

The SickKids Foundation was founded in 1875 and is known for their incredible work in paediatric health care. The foundation really does wonderful things and is dedicated to advancing children’s health. Even though the SickKids Hospital is situated in Toronto, SickKids Foundation helps on a global scale and has accomplished so much and continues to provide more research, more resources and a better life for children.

Omega Group aimed to raise awareness for the SickKids Foundation’s ‘Healthier Children. A Better World’ vision, and they certainly did just that with this event.
