Spirit of York Distillery Creates Hand Sanitizer To Help Combat COVID-19

A lot has been happening with the COVID-19 virus that as affected millions of people’s livelihoods in all different capacities.

Brands are looking to adapt and to help out with this unprecedented situation and many brands are stepping up to the plate.

Spirit of York Distillery has come up with this great initiative in Toronto to help combat the virus and the lack of supply of hand sanitizer in the city.

Usually known for their beautifully crafted spirits like their Gin, Vodka, Red Fife Wheat Vodka, Hawthorn Berry Gin and rare Aquavit, they are changing things up and providing something that’s not only an essential but is a luxury in recent times, hand sanitizer.

Starting today, while supplies last, they are providing hand sanitizer to the public. But there are a couple things you should note before making your way down there to get your own bottle.

The hand sanitizer will cost $3 with all proceeds dedicated to local food banks. The hand sanitizer will continue to be free to people who can’t afford it or over the age of 65 years old.

Because of the overwhelming community support and demand, it will be capped at one (1) bottle per person.

The operating hours are 11 am to 6 pm and it will be only available onsite due to the safety of staff and ⁣be only be picked up at a pick-up window on-site.

Any donations for their cause are welcomed and will be directed to the local food banks.
