Carving A Ford Edge ST Around Cayuga Speedway

Driving a Ford Edge ST is a fun experience, but driving the Ford Edge ST around Cayuga Speedway in Cayuga, ON, is a whole different experience. You are probably used to getting into the car, strapping on a seat belt, hitting the road and going about your day. When you head to Cayuga, you are starting off the day with a racing helmet on. As soon as you put on the helmet, it becomes all business. It’s very seldom that you can enjoy an SUV to the fullest. Some take their SUV offroad, but I prefer taking it on the[Read More]

Raising A Gin & Tonic To Celebrating Hayman’s Long-Standing History Of Crafting Gin

How do you take your gin? I had the pleasure of celebrating the long, extended heritage of Hayman’s Gin at Oretta in Toronto, ON. It was an event that showcased the fascinating history of the famous gin brand and is a direct throughline to the origins of gin in London, UK, especially dry gin. Enter Hayman’s Gin of London Hayman’s Gin is currently the only gin being distilled in London, UK. Hayman’s Gin has been around since 1863 and they mentioned that if the original founders came through their location, they would mention that the London Dry Gin would have[Read More]

Merrill House Is A Beautiful Boutique Hotel In Prince Edward County

A drive out to Prince Edward County starts with the idea of relaxation in mind first when you make the decision to go. When you get there you are going to forget about the commute and focus on what’s going in front of you. Local wineries, relaxing beaches, eclectic small-town charm, beautiful countryside, and elevated country homes. I hopped in the car and headed to the Merrill House for a few days during the week and I was excited to rekindle my love for Prince Edward County. Which previously only consisted of a shallow, yet an enjoyable trip to the[Read More]

What To Do In An Afternoon in Gananoque

I’m in beautiful Gananoque to familiarize myself with a new condominium development called Stone & South Condominiums, by Kingston, ON developer, CaraCo Development Corporation. My day was filled with different adventures over the course of two days. After getting here,  I was happy to explore a place I visited as a child but was too young to remember. My journalism colleagues and I took the 2.5 hr Via Rail from Toronto to Kingston; then drove to beautiful Gananoque, which only took about 20 minutes. We dropped our bags off at the Gananoque Inn and walked to a catered lunch at the Thousand Islands Boat Museum to learn about all the different activities and experiences the Museum is creating with schools around the area.[Read More]

Lacoste Celebrates A Milestone: The Crocodile Turns 85

Lacoste comes from the roots and mechanical brain of a particular athlete, René Lacoste, over 85 years ago. He was a tennis player who used to have to wear long-sleeved shirts and even ties while he was playing in the heat, running reactively towards his next shot. He realized that there was a better way to stay cool, look presentable and with this idea in mind, brought something new to tennis back in 1926, the invention of the polo shirt. Nicknamed ‘The Crocodile’ from other tennis players for his skill and based on what we have read, biting style on[Read More]

When you look across the bridge on Dundas Street East in Toronto, going over the water, bike pathways, highway below, a massive building emerges on the other side with a list of recognizable and exotic car logos spread across like a billboard. This is Grand Touring Automobiles’ home in East Toronto. Almost looking like a headquarters for a team of popular superheroes, this modern, multi-layered and levelled building spans almost a whole city block on one side. Day Two At Cobble Beach

After a relaxing day one, we had a wonderful hint of what the rest of the snow and sun-filled days were going to be like. The morning of Day 2 started with a wonderful breakfast, french toast, but it wasn’t your usual french toast, it had caramelized bananas, Nutella, and plenty of deliciousness to start your day in the right way. Oh, and yes, we said Nutella. If you love Nutella, you will love what Chef Tim has in store for you. Then it was time for the spa. Like many Torontonians, I was hunched over a laptop. I went[Read More]
